The Scaling Wellness Podcast

Oct 26, 2020

Isabel Spradlin is a massage therapist and massage business teacher based out of Portland Oregon, where she’s had a full-time practice since 2007.

Isabel knew from the beginning that she was meant to work for herself - not for a chiro, not under another office, but to truly be independent as a massage therapist and business owner.

Everything wasn’t so easy though, when the recession hit in 2008 she wasn’t sure if going through to build her practice was going to be worth it, but she stuck through and pushed to grow her business towards what it is today.

As she’s grown, she’s entered the latest phase of her business, which is helping solo massage therapists learn how to grow their own private practices.

In this interview, we dive deep into:

➡ The mistakes Isabel made when growing her practice (and how you can avoid them)

➡ What it really takes to be a successful solo practitioner

➡ The changes massage therapists need to make to go from struggling to thriving in their private practice
